19 March 2024 – the whole site came back online after a 4-year absence! Some minor updates to the Players page – links to Maxim Lysov and Stefan Wester sites. A BOOKS page has also been added. And I also changed the Home page to be more sensitive to the current political situation. Instead of referring to ‘The Russian 7-string Guitar’, Oleg Timofeyev wishes for it to be referred to as The 7-string Guitar, defined by its tuning and found in Russia, Ukraine and elsewhere. I’m still chewing over all the arguments for and against any particular name.
